Hellblade II System Requirements: Can Your PC Run This Norse Nightmare?

Seven years after developer Ninja Theory unleashed its Norse nightmare on the gaming industry, the myths and legends return in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. This odyssey aims to push the boundaries regarding brutal combat and intimate psychological storytelling when it launches on May 21, 2024. But is your gaming PC ready for the descent into madness?

Why the Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Hype?

The original Hellblade was far more artful and impactful than the title “Hellblade” might suggest. Developer Ninja Theory leveraged its action game experience to make a game more about cramped, close-quarters combat than flashy arena brawls. Meanwhile, excellent sound design and a mind-blowing lead performance by Melina Juergens sold the idea that you were trapped inside protagonist Senua’s untrustworthy mind, as well as the bleak environment

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II seemingly continues down that path. It’s not a bloated epic quest, but an intimate struggle. The sequel promises a more realistic fighting system as you traverse ancient Iceland. The first game received praise for its detailed visuals, and Senua’s Saga seeks to take full advantage of next-gen Unreal Engine 5 tech. Microsoft needs more exciting first-party games, and this fits the bill.

Where Can You Buy Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II?

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II launches on May 21 for the PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms. You can add the game to your Steam wishlist right now. Like its predecessor, Hellblade II is a shorter experience than your average AAA adventure. That’s why the game has a $49.99 budget price. You can only buy it digitally; there’s no physical version.
