AMD’s latest XT variant is hitting the market, so we take a look at the RX 7600 XT size to give you an informed look at the dimensions in both millimeters and inches. Before you head off to find where to buy the RX 7600 XT, it’s always a good idea to measure up, just in case it doesn’t fit in your PC case. Given that this is a more budget GPU designed for 1080p and 1440p gameplay, you shouldn’t be too worried about that though. Regardless, we take to the RX 7600 XT specs to figure out everything there is to know.
It was officially announced by AMD that RX 7600 XT availability is expected to start on January 24th, 2024. It’s worth noting that unlike Nvidia, AMD don’t tend to release a ‘founders edition’ equivalent (or reference models) for the lower end cards, so we instead have to look to custom AIBs for the RX 7600 XT size.
RX 7600 XT size in millimeters & inches
We can firstly look at the size of the RX 7600 XT board to get an understanding of how much space the card will take up. This is based on what we know so far about the reference model, which is unlikely to see release outside of partner manufacturers. As you can see below, this board is expected to be the same as the RX 7600 in terms of dimensions.
- Length: 204mm / 8 inches
- Width: 115mm / 4.5 inches
In terms of slot width, the RX 7600 XT is pretty slim – as you’d expect from the lower end of the range. In fact, AMD seem to be making a habit of their cards following the dual-slot design across the 7000 series. Looking over to high end Nvidia cards like the RTX 4080 or RTX 4090, you’ll find a much chunkier triple-slot to cater for.
RX 7600 XT size – custom models
The key to understanding the size of the RX 7600 XT is by looking at the size of custom models. Different manufacturers have different designs, leading to a variation in sizes. This often depends on design choices such as the number of fans or GPU casing. It’s early on in the launch, but we’ll be adding to this list as more SKUs are listed online and become available for purchase.

Will the RX 7600 XT fit in my PC?
You should have no problems fitting the RX 7600 XT into your PC. The dual-slot design works well with even smaller PC cases. The main thing you’ll want to cater for is the length of the GPU, which is generally dictated by the number of fans. For example, triple-fan SKUs tend to be over 300mm (11.8 inches) for the RX 7600 XT. This should be no problem in your average mid tower PC, but we recommend double-checking the space you have for a micro-ATX case. If you’ve got an even smaller mini-ATX case, then you’re best off trying to source a small form factor or low profile GPU to fit within this compact rig.

RX 7600 XT size FAQs
Is the RX 7600 XT bigger than the RX 7600?
From what we know so far, the size of the GPU board is the same for the XT and non-XT variants. However, comparing custom models already out there show a marginal increase in size of the RX 7600 XT, but not by a significant margin at all.
How many slots does the RX 7600 XT use?
Based on the board design, the RX 7600 XT uses a dual-slot design. This means it shouldn’t have any clearance issues in the majority of PC cases.
