At CES 2024, LG showed off its featherweight gram Pro series, and we now know how much they’ll cost and when you can pick one up.
The 16- and 17-inch LG gram Pro models will set you back $2,399 and $2,499, respectively, while the 16-inch gram Pro 2-in-1 retails for $2,099. They’re available for preorder now and formally launch on March 10.
The laptops both have high-resolution OLED displays and GPU options on top of Intel’s Core Ultra Processors. The LG gram Pro 2-in-1 took home a 2024 CES Innovation Award and has also been listed in the Guinness Book of World Record as the lightest 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop, which is a very specific category, for sure, but a notable achievement.
We went hands on with both laptops as well as LG’s new 240Hz OLED gaming monitor at CES last month. We were particularly impressed with how light the laptops are; they “need to be held to be believed,” says PCMag’s Matthew Buzzi. We also thought the OLED display was impressive, and something to be appreciated in person.
All three models run Intel’s new Core Ultra “Meteor Lake” chips and can be equipped with up to 32GB of memory and SSDs with up to 1TB of storage. All of the laptops in the lineup have two USB Type-A ports, two USB Type-C connections (with power delivery, DisplayPort, and Thunderbolt 4 support), and an HDMI connection. The laptops also feature a 1080p IR webcam, support for Dolby Atmos, and compatibility with the LG Gram Link app for Windows-to-Android and Windows-to-iOS communication and mirroring.
