When we reviewed the Microsoft Surface Pro 8, this detachable 2-in-1 came back with an “Excellent” rating, although we have to admit that our test model had the Intel Core i7 processor and more RAM. The Intel Core i5 this one comes with, combined with the 8GB of DDR4 RAM should be enough to get you through most work tasks, scrolling through social media, and playing games.

If you’re looking for a versatile device that can act as both a laptop and a tablet, the Acer Spin 5 convertible laptop is a solid option. With a 13.5-inch screen and a stylus, you can tackle your workload or have some fun doodling your day away. The Intel Core i5 processor and 8GB of RAM should be enough to make everything run smoothly, as long as you don’t want to run too-demanding apps. While we didn’t review this exact configuration, we did test out the 2022 Acer Spin 5 model and found it delivered an “Excellent” performance.
