LG’s latest range of OLED TVs is almost here. Pre orders have already been live in regions such as the US for a couple of weeks now, but those of us in the UK are still waiting. Three new OLED models have been showcased of the LG UK headquarters recently, which hopefully means that they’ll soon be available for pre order in the region.

No doubt that LG is yet again fighting for the best OLED TV title, and they have some strong releases this year to put them in the running. This early showcase has given us some new settings to talk about, with improvements coming to the B4, C4, and G4 OLEDs.

LG B4, C4 & G4 shown off at LG UK headquarters

Vincent from the popular YouTube channel HDTVTest has been lucky enough to visit LG’s UK headquarters to get a sneak peek at their latest TV range, with their 2024 OLEDs making up the majority of displays on… display. He also ran into one of their new QNED models as a surprise.

55-inch and 65-inch LG G4 TVs were on show, alongside the 42″ and 65″ C4. In addition, Vincent also had a look at the 65″ B4, which has the most improvements on paper – as we discussed in our LG B4 vs C4 comparison guide.

New settings available

We’ve already compared many aspects of certain models such as the LG G4 vs G3 and LG C4 vs C3 if you want a deeper dive, but we can summarize some things that HDTVTest has revealed.

There are a bunch of hardware improvements such as newer processors across the board and now four HDMI 2.1 ports on the B4, but let’s talk about some new settings to play around with.

  • 144Hz mode for G4 and C4, 120Hz is set by default
  • ALLM toggle without the need for Game Mode
  • Dolby Vision Filmmaker Mode
  • Manual Dynamic Tone Mapping settings
  • Chromecast supported by 2024 models at launch
