Xiaomi 14 Ultra Could Feature Brighter Lenses Than Predecessor

Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the top-tier flagship smartphone of the Xiaomi 14 series, is about to debut soon. Ahead of the official launch, the internet is flooded with leaks and reports about the phone, including details about its camera, processor, screen, etc. The latest information about the phone comes from an image of its camera’s cover glass.

The publication GSMArena recently published an image of the camera’s cover glass, showcasing the camera cutouts for different lenses. The image suggests that the camera layout will be similar to that of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Even so, the size of each cutout is slightly bigger, indicating that the lenses would be slightly bigger.

However, The Cutouts Are Slightly Bigger

The report suggests that the primary camera of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra could come with a f/1.6 aperture, making it larger than the f/1.9 aperture on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The trend is also visible in the periscope zoom camera, which could carry an aperture of f/2.5 instead of f/3.0 on the current model.

The upcoming flagship also retains Leica’s branding in the center of the camera module. However, as the publication highlights, it is unlikely that Xiaomi will keep the same design in the making for two consecutive years. Hence, either the leak isn’t real, or the company is following a practice similar to Samsung and Apple.
