The vivo Y36 4G and Y36 5G launched in May are joined by a new member in the lineup, called Y36i.
The vivo Y36i is built around a 6.56″ HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It has 840 nits peak brightness and can go as low as two nits. The display also has a notch for the 5MP selfie camera, with the primary camera on the rear using a 13MP sensor. It’s joined by an anti-stroboscopic sensor.
The vivo Y36i has the Dimensity 6020 SoC under the hood with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It runs Android 13-based OriginOS 3.0 out of the box and packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging.
The rest of the vivo Y36i’s highlights include 5G connectivity, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The vivo Y36i comes in three colors and is listed on vivo’s official Chinese website with a price tag of CNY1,199 ($170/€155/INR14,080). However, its availability in other countries is yet to be confirmed.
