Say hello to the just-announced Tecno Camon 30 Premier – the flagship of the Camon 30 series.
Like the Pro, the Premier ships in a solid package with a 70W charger, cable, and a case. The phone has a pre-applied plastic protector, and you get a tempered glass one as a spare.
Tecno’s Camon series has brought some exciting designs in the past, and this year’s Camon 30 Pro and Premier have a strong focus on the camera island. Tecno says the Premier is Rangefinder-inspired – ×e’re not sure we see it, though the gently sloping curve of the back towards the camera island is reminiscent of the premium Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Like that particular Ultra, the Camon 30 Premier’s camera island has a knurled lens ring design.
Outside of the small silver bit, the rest of the panel is textured and has an underlying marble design. It’s called a “suede Tech-Art Leather” finish, and it’s awesome.
The Tecno Camon 30 Premier
Finally, the Camon 30 Premier has the so-called Action Dot in the top left corner of the rear. It’s a red dot that lights up for charging, voice assistant wake-up, infrared remote status (yes, the phone also has an infrared port), and as a tally light when you’re recording video.
It’s small touches like this that set Tecno apart from its peers and it a good way too.
