Here’s What The Brand Has Teased So Far
“Introducing the all-new #RedmiPadSE, your ultimate companion for non-stop productivity and entertainment,” the brand writes on its official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle. Per the official microsite, the tablet will feature a big 11-inch screen that supports 90Hz refresh rate. Further, it is confirmed to run on the Snapdragon 680 SoC. Last but not least, the tablet’s battery is rated to last for up to 14 hours of video playback.
Here Are The Other Specifications We Know Of
The 11-inch screen can achieve a peak brightness of 400 nits and supports a 1500:1 contrast ratio. Further, it features a TUV Rheinland Blue Light certification. Redmi could pair the Snapdragon 680 SoC with multiple RAM and storage options, starting from 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Regarding optics, the tablet will come with an 8MP (f/2.2) primary camera and a 5MP (f/2.2) front camera. Powering the Redmi Pad SE is an 8,000 mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging via a USB-C port. Additional features of the tablet include a quad-speaker setup that supports Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone jack, AI face un.ock, Bluetooth v5.0, and Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz).
Redmi Pad SE Expected Price
In September 2023, the device came out for EUR 199 (around INR 18,000) for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The top variant, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, was available for EUR 249 (around INR 22,000). Hence, we expect the tablet to cost the same in India, otherwise it will lose its value-for-money proposition.
