In a dynamic move that is set to shake up the automotive landscape, Hyundai has officially introduced the much-anticipated 2024 Creta facelift. Priced at an introductory Rs 11 lakh for the entry-level E petrol-manual variant, the lineup extends up to Rs 20 lakh for the top-of-the-line SX(O) diesel-automatic trim, offering a range of options to cater to diverse preferences.
Boasting an impressive array of features and a refreshed design, the 2024 Creta facelift comes with a total of 19 variants, showcasing Hyundai’s commitment to providing a vehicle for every type of driver. The newly launched Creta facelift comes with a slight price adjustment, standing Rs 13,000 higher than its pre-facelift counterpart. Notably, the top-spec variant sees a more significant increase, now costing Rs 80,000 more than the previous model. Despite these adjustments, the Creta facelift maintains its competitive positioning within the segment, continuing to offer a compelling package with enhanced features and design updates.
2024 Creta facelift Design and Changes
The 2024 Creta undergoes a comprehensive design overhaul, showcasing more than just a cosmetic touch-up. Hyundai has revamped both the front and rear styling, introducing a larger grille adorned with parametric details. At the forefront, an expansive split headlamp setup steals the spotlight, featuring LED Daytime Running Lamps, sequential indicators, and a distinct light bar positioned atop the grille. The quad-LED main headlamps find their place lower on the bumper, contributing to a refreshed aesthetic. Undergoing a significant mechanical upgrade, the Creta facelift introduces a powerful 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, stepping in for the now-discontinued 140hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit. This new engine is exclusively mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, the 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol, and diesel engines remain unchanged, offering the flexibility of manual and automatic gearbox options in their respective configurations.
