In a blog post published on Wednesday, the popular OTT platform Netflix announced the arrival of Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition to Netflix subscribers. Bringing some of the most popular open-world gaming titles to its platform should benefit Netflix in gaining subscribers. The streaming service launched in-app video games recently, expanding its horizon beyond movies and web series.
Here’s When The Trilogy Arrives On Netflix
The Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will arrive on Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Netflix mobile app on December 14, 2023. Those who are interested in playing the game can pre-register on the app. The trilogy “adds to a growing catalog of more than 80 mobile games, with must-play titles across all genres adding further value to all Netflix memberships.”
Games Included In The Trilogy
The three titles included in the trilogy are Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition, which is placed in the early ’90s; Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition, which is based on the 1980s; and Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition, which is based in the iconic Liberty City. All these titles are some of the most popular and nostalgic video games, even in the 2020s, which is why the OTT service is bringing the titles in the first place.
