Google Pixel 8a Leaks Once Again in Hands-On Video

May is almost here and the Google I/O developer conference is drawing near. That event that used to be simply a stage for news on software now also brings new hardware from Google. This year, the company is expected to introduce another generation of its Pixel A-series. The more affordable Pixel generation will bring the Pixel 8a this year, and as usual, the device has been leaking like crazy in recent weeks. Today, we have another leak that leaves nothing to the imagination.  A hands-on video emerged showing the Pixel 8a in all its glory.

Google Pixel 8a – Design Leaks Once Again

The new hands-on video leak comes from a mobile phone seller in Casablanca, Morocco. The store already has a good chunk of Pixel 8a units in their stock. Someone went ahead with Google’s schedule and decided to share some tidbits of the smartphone. This isn’t the first time we see a Pixel smartphone leaking ahead of its launch, and it certainly won’t be the last.

Moving on, the video shows both the Green and Blue colorways of the Pixel 8a. We can also see the phone’s retail boxes as well as the accessories included in the package. There is a USB-A to USB-C adapter and a USB Type-C cable. Sadly, the retail package won’t include a charging brick.

The Google Pixel 8a boasts the Tensor G3 chipset, just like the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The phone is also rumored to sport a 6.1-inch Full HD+ 90 Hz OLED touchscreen display. The phone also has 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM. In terms of optics, there will be a 64 MP main camera and a 13 Ultrawide shooter. The phone will come with a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 27W wired charging.

The Pixel 8a will run Android 14 straight out of the box and will be eligible for Android 15 and future updates. We expect to see even more leaks in these last days before the release.
