In March 2024, Realme India launched the Narzo 70 Pro 5G, a mid-range smartphone with a base model (8/128GB) costing Rs. 19,999. Now, the brand is gearing up to expand the Narzo 70 lineup with a non-Pro model that could come with slightly toned-down specifications and more affordable pricing.
Realme Narzo 70 5G Release Date
We’re talking about the purported Realme Narzo 70 5G, which could appear on one of the most popular Indian e-commerce platforms sooner than expected. According to a source familiar with the development, the smartphone could debut by the last week of April 2024.
Given that it’s a non-Pro smartphone, the Narzo 70 5G will likely feature a screen and form factor similar to the Narzo 70 Pro 5G, except with a slightly less powerful chipset and perhaps a smaller battery. For those catching up, the Narzo 70 Pro 5G features the Dimensity 7050 SoC.
Further, our source has also hinted at the possibility of a surprise appearance at the Realme Narzo 70 5G, an unknown smartphone we haven’t heard of.
Realme Narzo 70 5G Availability
The upcoming non-Pro entrant in the Realme Narzo 70 series will be available exclusively via Amazon. The company may offer an introductory offer that reduces the smartphone’s effective price. However, that is the extent of information available about the upcoming handset.
Realme P1 And P1 Pro To Go Official On April 15
Before the Realme Narzo 70 5G, the Chinese smartphone brand will launch its new lineup: Realme P1. As part of the series, Realme will drop two handsets: P1 and P1 Pro. While the former is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, the latter runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 5G SoC (4nm).
Both the phones will flaunt a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with support for 120Hz refresh rate. However, the Pro version will sport a curved screen, whereas the regular version will ship with a flat display.
The Realme P1 could cost around Rs. 15,000, while the Realme P1 Pro could cost around Rs. 20,000 at launch (without introductory offers).
Shoutout to Manthan Mathur, who tipped us about the possible launch of the Realme smartphone.
