Netflix may have an impressive lineup of animated movies, but it’s kind of coasting on its reputation in April. The only new animated additions are the first two Hotel Transylvania movies and a classic from the ’80s called The Land Before Time. And while those are good selections and excellent options for families, they’re a little light compared to the movies that Netflix added during the early months of 2024.
As long as Netflix has both Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, it’s going to have the best selection of animated movies this side of Disney+ and Crunchyroll. But Netflix can’t hold on to those titles forever, so hopefully we’ll see a few more original titles before the end of 2024.
