Samsung announced its Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 midrangers yesterday and only revealed European pricing details. In a new development, Samsung confirmed that it’s not planning to bring the A55 to the US any time soon. A Samsung US representative confirmed to CNET that “We [Samsung] will not be carrying the Galaxy A55 5G at this time.”

Samsung did not reveal why it decided not to bring the A55 to the US but it could have to do with competition with its other Galaxy devices like the S23FE which boasts similar specs. We do get confirmation that the Galaxy A35 will eventually make its way to the US “in the coming weeks”.
