Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G Launches in March with 50 MP OIS Camera

Realme recently took the wraps off the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+. The company is planning to launch the vanilla Realme 12+ 5G pretty soon, on March 6. It will launch earlier in Malaysia, on February 29. When it comes to India, the 12+ 5G, won’t be the only smartphone launching in March. The company announced that it will also launch the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G in India in March.

Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G Coming in March with 50MP OIS Camera

To those unaware, the Realme Narzo series usually consists of budget smartphones with affordable prices and modest specifications. Therefore, the Narzo 70 Pro should stay loyal to this principle bringing mid-range specifications with a focus on screen and battery life. Realme so far hasn’t detailed the specifications of the Narzo 70 Pro 5G. However, it confirmed that the phone will come with the 50 MP Sony IMX890 as the primary camera. The most interesting detail is that the company confirmed it will have OIS. The presence of OIS is something quite remarkable for a budget smartphone.

Gizchina News of the week

With Optical Image Stabilization, the Narzo 70 Pro 5G will be one of the few low-end smartphones to include such a feature. It also suggests that we will start to see this feature coming for more low-end smartphones in Realme’s portfolio. Apart from the main camera, there are no more details available about this camera setup. The teaser image, however, suggests a big circular island with three or four camera modules. Apart from the main camera, we can at least expect a macro and a depth-sensing module.

Under the hood, the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G will carry a 5G chipset and we believe it will be one of MediaTek’s Dimensity 5G chips. The device will also include a large display and we expect a 5,000 mAh battery with at least 33W fast-charging support. Of Course, Realme will keep teasing the details in the coming weeks. While the Realme 12+ 5G has an official launch date, the Realme Narzo 70 Pro can launch anytime in the next month. So there is still plenty of time for Realme to share teasers. Another interesting fact is that if there is a Realme Narzo 70 Pro, we also expect a vanilla Realme Narzo 70 to tag along.
