The Cinebeam Qube comes with a beautiful handle that looks like a crank, which LG calls “Minimalist”. LG calls the Cinebeam Qube “one of the smallest projectors out there”. It is worth noting that the launch date and the price for the Cinebeam Qube haven’t been officially released by LG. Cinebeam Qube’s 4K Resolution
According to LG, this pretty small projector promises to be a “Picture King”. The company claims that the image quality is one of the selling points of this device. With a 4K resolution at 3840 × 2160, Cinebeam Qube promises to project up to 120-inch images. While most projectors in the market come with 1080p upscaled to 4K, this device uses an actual 4K resolution. The colour gamut (DCI-P3) hits 154% while the RGB laser light source has a contrast ratio of about 450,000:1.
Like other projectors from LG, the Cinebeam Qube comes with an image-mapping feature. With this feature, the output from this projector appears premium even though it is not an ultra-short throw projector. The Automatic Brightness Algorithm further enhances the overall performance of this device. The LG Cinebeam Qube also runs on webOS, the platform that LG uses on its TVs and other projectors. This feature gives you access to kinds of streaming platforms like:
