Yesterday, Xiaomi confirmed the launch of the Redmi Note 13 flagship series in India on January 4, 2024. While the brand yesterday did not confirm whether all 3 Note 13 series devices that launched globally will come to India or not, today one model has been confirmed. An hour ago, Xiaomi India’s X (formerly Twitter) handle shared a tweet announcing the launch of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G smartphone on January 4, 2024.
Redmi is calling it the blend of top notch-specs, and unparalleled sophistication and tagged it as #SuperNote that will redefine luxury and innovation. Here is the post, confirming the launch.
There is a link to a webpage in the post, opening which you will see an option of ‘Notify Me’ and a timeline of dates when major features will be unveiled by Xiaomi. According to the Xiaomi India live page, more about the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will be revealed on 15th December, 18th December, 19th December, 20th December, 22nd December, and 25th December 2023. Xiaomi has also shared an image of the device.

Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G: Expected India Price
The global pricing of Note 13 Pro Plus starts at RMB 1999 for the 12GB+256GB model and goes all the way up to RMB 2299 for the 16GB+512GB variant. Along the same lines, expected India prices can be
- 12GB+256GB -Rs. 22,000 approx.
- 12GB+512GB-Rs. 24,000 approx.
- 16GB+512GB-Rs. 25,500 approx.
Note- The exact pricing will be unveiled on January 4.

Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus: Specs (global variant)
Since the Redmi Note 13 Series has already been launched globally, we have an idea of what the specifications for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ might be. The global variant sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The high-end model features a triple camera setup at the back that includes a 200MP main, 8MP wide-angle, and 2MP macro sensors. The main camera comes equipped with Optical Image Stabilization. 16MP lens is given at the front for selfies and video calls.
Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset under the hood with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage. There is support for microSD card as well to expand storage. It runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box and juices from a 5000mAh powerhouse with 120W wired fast charging support.
