My wife and I tried silicone holders previously, and they are fine. However, I found them really difficult to get on. These feel like they will last, and snap open to easily insert the Airtags.

By the way, if you have an iPhone to use them, Airtags are awesome. For instance, if you fly from LAX, California to Haneda, Japan, you can “see” that your luggage is still at LAX 5,472 miles away! It sas NOT funny arriving in Japan for a 9 day cruise without luggage. It WAS really cool to see it disappear on the app, and then see it on the app in Haneda airport in Japan in time for the cruise!

These are light-duty AirTag fobs that will fail very quickly and cause the loss of the tag itself. Nothing “leather” about them, just molded polyurethane with a faux leather look. The biggest concern is the pu loop which retains the split metal key ring. That loop is paper thin and with minimum use/aging could easily tear or split, causing the loss of the AirTag.
